Paul's Extrude Honed Upper Intake Manifold
Got it today! Promo says 10 HP and 20 torque. Anybody dyno one? Also appreciate any tips on installation (hose removals, gaskets, etc.)

Matt (High Roller) has dynoed it, maybe he'll chime in on it. I know he was pretty dissapointed from what I remember, but don't recall the exact details.

Sal,
Just did a search. Silver-Bolt dyno'd his before and after. Gains were 12 HP and 10 torque. Not bad. Mark:) |
So what did those 12 horses cost?
|
Were those gains with the old TB or a new single blade TB?

A six-pack helps also!

I agree, a new Plenum from Fordpartsonline.com cost about $130, so there charging $370 for extruding and honing.
Sounds like a deal! |

It cost me $240 including shipping. Running out of things to change, next step is built up lower end. Silver Bolt said in his post that was the only thing he changed. Dont know if he already had a single bore TB or not.
Mark:) |
That was the only part changed between dyno trips. I did already have a BABolt T/B. Do your self a faver and match port your T/B to the new intake. Then make sure the T/B is aligned and tightened before you install the upper. If you put the upper on first it is very hard to properly align the T/B. If you have a single blade T/B and you hear that little whistle at part throttle, you are not aligned.

Thanks for the tips. I have Ba-Bolts work of art too. Did you change out all gaskets? Any tricks to pulling those hoses besides force?
