Help!!! I think it's Broke!

Ok guys... I wasn't going to post today out of respect for the 9/11 victims, but I really need help. Ok... this started late last night. I pulled into my parking lot and i hear this noise under my L. I shut off the radio and listen... then I turn to go to my apartment bldg when I hear it again. It happens every time i turn... regardless if it's a hard turn or a gentle turn. It sounds like something broke and is swinging back and forth as I turn. It makes a dull metal to metal noise. Has anyone experienced this before??? Please help! I wanted to ask you guys for their opinion/advice before calling the dealership. Thanks in advance!!!

May be "the clunk", if the lower A-arm bolt is sliding back and forth in the slotted hole. Should be abvious if so, with wear marks on the frame on both sides of it. Do a search on "clunk" and you should find lots of pics and several fixes.

Hopefully thats all it is, as its a fairly easy fix and no real problem.

Sounds like the "Clunk" to me. That was a option that Ford threw in for free .

I doubt it's the clunk. It makes an obvious 'CLUNK'. Usually just once when starting a turn (most every turn).

I can't think of what it might be. Most everything I think of is hard turning (PS at its limit, turn stop rubbing, tire hitting in wheel well). But it also happens slight turning? hmmmmm.... go figure.

I knew it wasn't the CLUNK, but it was the first thing I checked. Not it! It kinda sounds like it's coming from the rear half of the truck (prolly just behind the cab). I looked under the truck, but couldn't really see anything broken or loose. I know a really good service writer, and I think I'm gonna give her a call and see if she's heard about anything like this and see if they could look at it and fix it. Thanks again for the help guys!

Anymore suggestions/ideas/comments are more than welcome!

I dunno... just kinda a long moment of "silence" type thing... And it would be nice to spend sometime w/ those you love cause you never know what you got til its gone.
