Question for Nitto's 555R Users
 

What is the best tire pressure for this tires for normal driving and drag racing? Thanx Gang :confused:

I drive around with 32 lbs. I air down to 20lbs at the track, but my 60 ft. times are nothing to brag about. I have almost 6K miles on the Nittos and the tread looks good. It took almost 2 months to get that kind of mileage. I have made several trips to the track and local unsanctioned events to their credit. I recently have a nail stuck in one of them and will replace it as soon as the engine goes back in.

BTW, my truck weighs a hefty 5000 pounds w/o driver.

I run 28#'s on the street and when at the track 22#'s. At 22#'s with a 3-4 second burn out the Nitto 555R's hook up extremely well. As good or maybe even better than my Et Street's.

30 pounds for the street. They aren't that much better than the F1's unless they are hot. Then they stick really well.

I run mine at 30-35 on the street. 25 at the track but I'm thinking I need to drop the pressure some more at the track.

what kind of local unsanctioned events are we talkin about here.... i might be going to tennesee the 2nd and 3rd of november.... we might have to meet up! i want to participate in these unsactioned local events LOL!:D
