changed from NGK to Denso's today

Went out and did a plug swap today and to my suprise the denso's really do run that much smoother then the NGK's. I didn't think I would be able to notice it but I felt a cerrtain change in the throttle response too. Probably nothing that would effect E.T. that much but it felt different.

I took out the NGK BR7's and they where pretty damn clean for having about 2,000 miles on them. I thought with them being so cold they would be black but they looked great. I just hope these Denso IT24's work out nicely for how much they cost.

The denso's so far are worth the money in my book guys. try them and you will be suprised.

Good. I just spent the 90$ on the Denso IT22's. I hope I get the same results you did.

I just changed my Denso IT24's out for NGKBR7EF's this weekend.. I had a miss at cruising speed and it was getting more frequent...Runs much better now though.. I only had maybe 1000 miles on the Denso's....  ....JR

I switched from Tr-6's gapped at .037 to Denso IT-24's gap .032 Friday. I haven't noticed a difference. I checked a couple this morning and they look pretty good. I made the change to run a 150 shot with my 6lb lower.

I have to believe that you had a 'bad' Denso. Maybe an internal crack or a partially broken positive electrode was causing the misfire. I have been using the BR7EFs for several thousand miles and they are so 'cold', that they misfire all the time at low rpms. They work fine at WOT(see sig) but the Denso IT24s will be going in soon.
