Mounted one of my new 22's yesterday
Man these are huge =)
Bad news was i ordered the wrong size tires. 305/30/22's are just way to much rubber on a 22x9.5. They did not rub, but there would be no dropping the front with my 3" spindles coming in soon. My 285/30/22's should be here Monday =/. I was hoping for the weekend. I ended up with Dunlop Sports and Bazo B4 rims. I will take some pics when they are on. |
How did you pay for your rims? What job do you have?
 |
Bet it will look sharp:p
|
You've got to hurry up and post pics! I'm dying to see what they look like. I've wanted to see these rims on a Lightning for a long time. I can't wait til' Monday. It seems like I'm almost as excited as you are.:p

I got the camera as soon as i get t hem on i will post the pics =).

What Co makes a 305-30-22? That would be a sweet size for me. And 3in drop spindles? or did you mean 3in coil spring? Thanks.

No he ment 3 inch drop spindle's. I know because I have them on my truck from the same shop that is putting them on his.

i have never seen a 305-30-22 but i have seen a 305-40-22, which might be to big. in 30 series, pirelli offers a 265-35-22 and a 295-30-22 as well as dunlops 285-30-22. i have a pirelli 305-35-23 on my lightning with a 3/4 drop and have no problems.

Ah nice thanks for the pics!

Bagged01L, thanks for the info on the spindles, I will call to see if they will sell a set. My truck is bagged but I'd like to setup my ride with a spindle. Are you using the front swaybar? I use endlinks that pivot and shock is inside the control arms so my steering does not suffer.
For the tires size, The 295-30 even has abit more meat then my 285-30's. Even when just looking. Plus I have 22X10's. I'd much rather have 305-30's. Thanks for all the info..................................... |
The 295/30/22 pirelli's are out of stock pretty much everywhere =/.
I had to go with the 285/30/ 22's in a Dunlop Sport. |
Hey Silver X, will you post pics of your truck. I would like to see a bagged truck on 22's. Thanks.
