Do Lightnings run Windows XP?
Uh, so....
what's the big screen for? Surfing the web while clicking off 12 second quarters? Watching F-n-F for the 1000th time? Playstation? Mobile ****? It's a nice clean install of something I see no need for.
OTOH - Maybe he's got live on board diagnostics displayed in real time? Or a rear mounted video camera so he can see the astonished look on the face of his victims! Now that would be cool!

J15,, you'd better have the motherboard grounded to some metal or else that static electricity will fry everything,, possibly even the carpet around it if there is any sort of short in the wiring.

thanks
I'd echo snoopy's comments. Why? Because you can may be a good enough reason. So, are the climate controls that I can't see in the pic in control of the PC now? If so, I'd hate to wait for *******ing Windows to boot up and start the AC when it's 100 degrees in late July. I'd go with a touch-screen, and get rid of the
roller-ball mouse. Somebody must make a keyboard-steering wheel, right?

There will need to be some space between this metal sheet and the mobo,, you can get spacer screws from any computer store which will screw into the metal sheat,, these spacer screws will have an opening at the top which other screws attached to the motherboard can fit right in,,, once its all placed together, I'd run a wire from the metal sheet to any good grounding soarce in the truck,,, ie,, srews to the frame,, etc,,,,
if you have any questions,, its easier to show then to explain, I might be able to send you some parts to do it, but I've been extremely busy lately and when its eiter sleep or stuff like that, I usually pick sleep
Most computer stores would be more then willing to help you, as long as they are one of the small ones,, ie,,, not compusa etc. Thing is lots of those stores are full of geeks that are also conceited little computer ******,, and are gonna treat ya like you know nothing, so dont get upset and punch a geek out cause he pissed you off,, just listen to him and take off
