Hello guys. Been out of the loop for awhile. My last post was where I traded my 2001L to get my wife a convertible GT Mustang. Well now I want back in the Lightning business. Is Ford changing the F150 in 03 or not? Is it changing in 04? What's the latest? I heard new body style soon. Info is hard to come by since I am currently stationed in the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. A Longbow Apache pilot has plenty of work these days. Happy foutrth of July to all and remember the servicemen and women who can't be home so you can bar-b -q in peace and security. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Can't tell you anything about the 03/04 Lightnings but I can tell you thankyou from me and my family for the job you are doing. I will raise a cold one in your honor this fourth. Keep up the good work, come home safe, and God bless you all.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK YOU GUYS ARE DOING..IF YOU EVER COME TO KANSAS FLY THAT APACHE OVER TO MY HOUSE AND TAKE ME FOR A RIDE!!!

ONLY CHANGE ON THE 03 IS INCREASING PAYLOAD FROM 800LBS TO 1200LBS AND TOW A LITTLE MORE.

NO WORD ON THE 04'S THOUGHT 03 WAS IT TIL 06'

besides the 600lb increase in payload weight their will be 2 new colors(grey, and a different kind of blue), new rims(no one knows what there goin to look like), and brushed aluminum accent pieces.

My best friend wants to become an Apache pilot-How many years does it take in the ARMY until they actually let you fly one. It's not a matter of how much time in the Army, it's a matter of passing a flight physical and getting accepted to flight school and then being lucky enough to get into Apaches. See your local recruiter. Glad to hear that there are guys interested in serving their country.

I can tell you that Bill STILL has one of the baddest Lightnings on the planet, for sure.

One of the new colors for 03 will be sonic blue (see pic). It's used on the mustangs.

Pardont the Photochop job on the body but the color is untouched. This is the sonic blue that is supposed to be used on the Lightning. Nice, huh?

If you want a Cobra ,you are probably to late! (Hens teeth) The 03' L will only have new wheels similar to the99/00 style and aluminum trim accents,pedals,etc. God bless all of the gang! Hope ya' get those Bastards!

Yes the Longbow Apache is the baddest attack helicopter on the planet. period. You have a front and back seat and a helmet mounted sight system that points weapons and sensor systems wherever you look with your eye. Not a 50 cal but a 30mm cannon. Much more powerful than a 50 cal. It's cool that you guys are this interested in the bird. Would be cool to give you all a ride.
