HHMM.. im thinking maybe i should wait and buy an 03 since they should be a little faster huh? or should i get in on the late 02 sells maybe they'll let em go a little cheaper.

Last I heard they weren't going to be any performance mods for the 03s. I know there is an interior upgrade as well as a suspension upgrade to raise the haul limit by 600lbs. And two new colors. Dark shadow grey and Sonic Blue.

 

What intel said. Brushed aluminum accent pieces, payload capacity upgrade(+600lbs), and new rims.

why would anyone want yellow on a truck? sure it was nice when if first came out on the mustang, but now everyone has it. Recently saw a yellow chev pickup - uggly - if u want that much yellow look at the sun.

Its just like green was every body wanted green , and then yellow and now silver - u see silver everywhere. now it will be blue and dark grey - thats all you will see for the next few years, o yeah and how many orage chev's do u see (all of them)

If I was to complain about the 03's it wouldn't be about color it would be about important things like:

03- ford put your 3v heads on (u have them)

-the 5spd auto out of the power stroke, the psd starts production in nov so one would think it could be available for the lightning by march or april.

- put better rods in there too, u put them in a shorter stoke 4.6 wich would not require as strong as rods as the 5.4. Why not the 5.4 wich needs them more than a 4.6?

- its a lightning not a harley truck so if all you can do is add cheezy things like aluminumn door handles why even bother

- why wait for 04? won't this be the first year chev outsells ford? (u know chev will rub it in)

common ford do it now so atleast you will have something to brag about. Hey the two most powerfull trucks for 03 would be a good idea - the ford power stroke diesel and the ford lightning 3v, as an added bonus a 5.4 beating a 8.3l v10 dodge would put a smile on any ford fan's face.
