Talking Front Bumper gap fix!

For those of you out there that have a larger gap on the drivers side (between fender and bumper cover) than the passenger side, I found a solution you may want to try. I thought I would just have to loosen the mounting bolts and raise the bumper, however the drivers side does mounting flange does not have slots long enough to allow further movement up. I noticed that as I re-tightened the nuts, the gap widened even as I pushed up on the bumper! THE FIX: a 3/8 fender washer about 1/8" thick with a 3/8 slot cut in it will be able to slip on the upper mounting stud between the bumper bracket and the frame rail bracket. Upon tightening this forced the bumper to draw up right where is should have been from the factory. So if just loosening and pushing wont tighten the gap on your "L" try a shim like I did. Hope this helps someone!

Any pictures? I have the same problemon my passenger side. The gap was lessened by mving up on the mounting bolts, but still not near enough.
