Doug, It will NOT be degraded by me! Thanks for allowing this thread to run its course. I really just want to see some pictures.

 

There is no way that anyone could have their 166 yet. I have ordered and paid for a 166 back in the first part of March and still haven't gotton mine yet. Talked to Jim on Monday and he said probably at least another couple weeks.

 

SWEET! you guys have to post it when you get it in. I'd love to see the new set up! It sounds like it's gonna be a monster! All you tuners... Keep up the good work! thanks for all you do!

Q?: If you can blow rods out the side of the block with a stock blower at 16+ pounds of boost, why would anyone put on an M166?

I'm assuming anyone considering the S/C swap is bullet proofing the motor in preparation?

I hear about a month to six weeks for the Kenny Bell

All I know is I have a big SVTOA event on June 20th in conjuntion with a Viper club. If I don't have the blower on in time for that event there is no rush on it.

Ya Sal let us know, I have no idea whats going on anymore.

Rich ya my motor is built, and allmost 2 months later I am still running a brake in program, and no blower. Thats why I did this 10 grand buildup, to handle this F**kin blower and am still running in the 12's.

 

I'm interested in a bigger blower to go with my nitrous and built engine. Send me some info Sal. Thanks leonard@etoppers.com

 

Don, since you are one of those invloved, I will divluge what I know.

Jim called Whipple two weeks ago trying to purchace 3 Whipplechargers (one for Chikin1, one for Don, one for HDmlinium??-just speculation). Since Chris and I (Chris is the guy doing our blower kits) have a deal worked out with Whipple for rights to a Lightning kit, Whipple told Jim to contact Chris about purchasing the units. Jim called Chris, and told him he needed 3 units. Chris asked if they were for Lightnings, and Jim said NO. Chris called Whipple to get the scoop and was told Jim told them he needed them for 3 Lightnings. Chris said he had a lengthy conversation with Jim on the phone at which he told me most of Jims conversation was bashing me (like I wasn't going to find out??). Chris asked Jim about his 166 deal, and Jim told Chris they were working on it and when it was done, they'd have a million of them and they would be dirt cheap (I've spolen to Jim personally about that 166 three times and got a different price each time). Chris said that since he didn't believe a word Jim said to him, and Jim had already lied to him about what the blowers were for, he declined selling Jim the blowers.

That is factual data. Use it as you like. I'm sick of getting dragged into other vendors lies. I've sat back and watched lies get spread around like wildfire. I will not tolerate it any longer.

 

You know after reading the MM&FF article on it I'm starting to like that blower. After seeing the pics it's I think it looks much better then the eaton's, plus the fact that it's more efficient.

Now if I wanted that much power I think I would definately get it, but I'll stick with stock. Also isn't it really $$$$.
