CLANK up front

When I turn the wheel hard right and back up , say out of a P space, I often hear a clank or snap sound coming from front suspension I think. Not horrible, and doesnt sound damaging at all, you cant feel it, just not a good sound obviously. Seems only while turned full to right and in reverse. Anyone else had it at all? Doesn't seem like the clunk I dont think. Thanx.

Just put some waterproof grease on your steering stops and it will go away.

It's the infamous "clunk". There are numerous posts on this...I think it's TSB 00-25-8. They will "fix" it under warranty. They did mine last month and no more clunk!

What they said: "clunk". It's either the lower arm washer or your steering stops. My 02 kinda went "twank" a few times before I lubed the steering stops. My star washer hasn't slipped (yet!).
