NITTO Drag Radial Setup
I just got a pair of NITTO 555R 305/45/18 tires. I was wondering what tire pressure, burnout procedures are recommended. I am looking to get some 1.75 or so 60' times and appreciate the input.

you will love your new nittos they work auesome.but askink for a1.7 60 ft is asking for alot,i pull 1.72 60ft's with a full slick.i run the nittos on the street and they worg great,i sware buy them.i sold quite a few sets of the nittos and my customers love them they even run them at the track.they are pulling 2.0 60ft's but there still learning how to drag race.the tires work great bettar than the goodyears and the bfg's you will be verry happy with them.
I run Nitto's on the street and at the track. I am very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone in my situation. I've run them at the track a couple times and my best time so far is a 1.93 60'. My local track is not well prepped at all so I consider this to be pretty good. I'm going to run them at Gainesville Raceway in a couple weeks. Maybe I'll see a 1.8 there. 1.7 is not impossible but it is pretty optimistic. Depends on your track though.

1.75 would be sick and wrong. The guys here get 1.9x with ET Streets and 1.75 with true Hoosier slicks.

I think I'll get about the same with the nittos I traded those in on.
I believe I have seen some 1.71 and 1.72 60' times on the NITTOS. Track prep and practice should yield me 1.7s I believe. I have pulled a 1.84 on F1s and there is a guy in Southern MD who has gotten 1.77s on F1s so I don't think I'm that optimistic.
