Question "Satin" 20s

I've seen a lot of people here putting on the factory-replica 20s in chrome, but I don't recall anyone ever sticking with the stock silver-ish color. I've had chrome rims before and liked them, but got tired of fighting to keep them shiny. It's time to get a new set of tires and thought about going ahead and upgrading to 20s while I'm at it. Does anyone even make them in the original color? Any thoughts for or against? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Nobody makes them in silver, only chromed so far. They could be dechromed and painted but it would be a lot of trouble. Might be worth it though, nobody's done it yet as far as I know.

Wolff,

About your hood, did it come with the screens in the scoops or did you do that? It looks great!

I KNOW there's an add in MM&FF with them in silver... I'll take a look and post a site, if there is one. I dog-eared the page!

What difference would going with a 9" wheel instead of a 9.5" wheel make? The place in Katy only sells 20x9s. Would the width cause a problem with the Nittos or Dunlops? Thanks.

Fast-
Boyd Coddington www.boydcoddington.com They also make the "Smoothie 2s" of VINSVT fame. These "HOTRODS" are kind of a throwback (if 7 years can really be considered a "throwback") to my high school "Progressive 5-stars" days. Plus, these might be easier to clean than the old ARE136s I had on my Bronco...too many curves, nooks, and crannies for dirt and goop to hide in.
