Anybody know where to buy Lightning at A or X plan?

 

Tried to get an L on the X-plan but the small lettering said no SVT vehicles were allowed. One of the guys here on board said they could get it that way but I can't remember who it was. So that makes me about useless.

Ford does not disallow SVT's to be sold on Plans. It is totally up to the dealer.

Some(all?) Ford employees are given X plans and can give them away. Some large institutions have X plan agreements with Ford. I got mine throgh EAA but they now require you to be a member for one year before they will give you a PIN necessary to obtain a X plan. X plan pricing on a L will save you about $4,000.

'A' plans are for Ford employees and their family. They save a little more.
