Missing step for removing tranny filter...

There is one missing step in the instructions for removing the filter from the transmission.

Close your mouth.

Yech!!!

I was a full arms length away and tugged on the filter. It came off easily but fluid scattered everywhere and a bunch found my open mouth. Yech!

Mine wasn't falling! It shot sideways and took a quick left turn into my mouth from almost 3 feet away!

LOL THAT HAPPENED TO ME TOO!

I mostly got it up the nose but I got some in the mouth too.

We should all sue factory Tech for not warning us.

No no no....

The instructions very specifically read
"Filters under the influence of the Dark Side will spray fluid with amazing accuracy into your mouth, even if you're in the waiting room of a transmission shop doing a professional install, HAZMAT full face protection is recommended"

Or maybe that was the part the Lawyers made me edit...
If you punch a hole in the filter first, it gets most of it
