Isn't it pretty?

I just installed my Accufab Throttle Body. What a pretty piece. It kind of looks out of place on my old truck. Time to detail the engine compartment.

It went on with no problems, and fired right up. I still need to check the TPS voltage. It seems to have a little better throttle response when it gets wound up. It does, however feel like I have a slight loss of torque off idle, to about 1700-1800 RPM. That will probably be a good thing, to help launch the truck.

It definitely builds boost more quickly. I'm going to try and schedule some dyno time at Danny Swanson's later in the week.

I still need to check the TPS voltage.
What's the deal with this? I haven't checked mine; do I need to? How? Thanks.

Mondo 1, I bought mine direct from Accufab. They are a local manufacturer, so I just went over there and picked on up. I imagine that they are also available through the major tuners (PSP, JDM and JL). They are not cheap, which is true with high quality products. They run about $500.00

Duck, I am going to confirm that the TPS voltage that the PCM is seeing ins in the right range. It should be .53-1.27 VDC at hot idle. We used to check this by sliding pins through the wire insulation on the incoming TPS wires, but I understand that you can get a special connector now that makes it easier. I think Sal could elaborate more on this one.
