Ghost flames and the cervini's hood?

OK, here are pics of "devil tail" flames the painter mocked up in about three minutes. He talked about transparents in the blue/purple range, and said from 30' feet away you will barely be able to see that the front is painted. We're talking the hood, front fenders and both doors...
(these were done before the cervini's went on)

I think that would be lookin' pretty dead sexy in a ghost flame job, man. Do you plan on doing JUST that part of the hood/fenders, or are you going to carry it on with the rest of the hood and other side of the truck? I'm guessing that was just done halfway across, as an example? IMHO I wouldn't take the flames past the front fenders and into the doors. But I would carry it across the hood to match the rest of the truck. I give it thumbs up dude.

That pattern is sweet as hell, go for it !

No! Please just do half the hood ;-)

Those look really good!

Yes, the intention is for flames across the whole hood, matching the flames on both fenders. And, as biatching as that hood looks, I may keep it just to the fenders - thanks guys for your imput!!!! Keep it all comin' - good/bad opinions, please!

Daaaaaaaaaayum!!!! Do it do it!! :D

Brad, those would look awesome across the hood. Maybe fading out towards the doors.

Don't over do it. Try to be somewhat subtle.

I've seen a couple of Lightnings with flames the whole length. They are very nice, but are just a little too busy for my taste. The Lightning is a big vehicle, so it doesn't need a lot to stand out.

wolff, here's some of a guy that works up the street from me. its on a 00 L with cervini's ram air. I wanna get a pattern very similar when i get my hood, but in a red color to match my pinstriping. And you can't see the flames from like 50 feet away or so either. just another option that you can build on

The white one with the blue flames belongs to a friend of mine. He did the seat inserts with flames too.
