Question Torque Converter

I want to hear from the guys with stall converters in their trucks...1/8 and/or 1/4 times before and after...Does it screw up fuel economy, and does it screw up the "feel" of your truck on around town driving??? Anybody know if I can get a 2000rpm stall instead of a 2400rpm???

My 3K stall rocks. I should have some track times tomorrow. Fuel economy is a bit worse around town but no different on the highway.

Go to my Lightning page in my sig and there is a link to Yank and the converter in my mod section. Mike is a awesome guy to work with...give him a call and tell him your wants and he'll build it for you. Most of the LS1 guys swear by Yank andx avoid PI (Vigilante).

drop 5 tenths with no loss of fuel economy. sounds too good to be true.

There is a guy here locally building 2200-2400 stalls for us and they are very streetable. Cost is $250.00 exchange, they are single disc Kevlar (sp) converters and those that have them like them very much but no .500 drop in 1/4 miles times.

Talk with BobC and Myredtoy with HALO they both have one.
