hdmlinum(or whatever it is) only has a 2/3 drop? i thought it was lower. maybe its those rims that make it look like that.

Your right sorry, Wasnt thinking...

It comes out to a 2/4 and then we moved the rear shackel up a notch to make it a 2/3....

The L's are 1in lower in the front than a regular F150...

thanks for the post. I think it makes the L's look even better. Where is the best place to get a drop kit for my truck 2/3.

IC No Colors

IC...are you color blind? Guy asks for a RED on 20's and there's your silver... WHITE with a 2/3 and there's your silver. Just joking your a great help to a lot of folks here.

Are you looking to retain (or even increase) your trucks handling ability, or are you dropping it strictly for looks?

J15BIG Mar 26, 2002 01:33 PM

hey J,
i want to keep if not increase my handleing abilitys. im halfway through installing the ground force 1/2 kit. the shackles are on but i have to wait for an engie before i get the springs on. did i make a mistake by getting the drop kit?

WrongdayJ Mar 26, 2002 02:44 PM

I don't see a problem. . .in fact, it sounds good.

Once you get the kit installed, you will need end-links. E-mail me at Wrongdayj@aol.com and I can send you technical drawings and instructions w/pictures of the units I do. In fact, let me know EXACTLY how much your truck gets lowered and I will make them for you free. I have some stock left from the last ones I made for SB Performance.

You will want to think about shocks, too. Beltech Nitro Drop/Nitro Actives are good. '01 Bilstien replacements are good. The ultimate is the QA1. They are really pricey- but they are the best for extreme street/entry level autocross.
