In order of my preference:
1. Texaco
2. Amaco
3. Shell
4. Exxon

We do not have Sunoco here in middle Georgia, but I hear thier premium is 94 octane??

Post Been using Shell

mainly due to the 5% rebate with the gas card they give, but have had no problems with either the L or my '92 Z28 that runs a pretty radical cam and milled Vortec heads. They both seem to like it

I had read, I think in AutoWeek that, Citgo, BP and Amaco have the highest BTU rating for their 93 gas.
I don't have a clue what octane has to do with BTU's....I assume British Thermal Units, but I try to buy those three and know that Citgo opened a new station 5 blocks from the house
And Budweiser for me

I use Shell

Had a brain-fart one day and put the mid grade in by accident. Always try to fill up at the half tank mark now just in case I get stupid again

However back in my stang days i found I could bump up the timing the most w/o detonation using amaco 93.

Mobil 91

I swear, these smog ****'s out here want to end anything related to " sports ", "performance " when used in conjunction with CAR or AUTOMOBILE.

<Slight Rant >

What pisses me off about this state more then anything is that these dinkheads up in the state capitol keep pointing the blame @ auto's for their smog problem. When infact, the problem is sourced from large corps/companies dumping **** into the air and NOT being regulated.

Another blow is the corruption of this C.A.R.B. Ca Air Resource Board. Where an auto part manf has to send a part in to get approval to be used on a car in ca. Not only are the fee's expensive, it doesnt give any hope to the " little guy " who makes a nice performing piece to get smog exempted. The royalty fee's goto some slug bureaucrats who end up having a party with the manf's $$. The biggest blow is that part could EASILY pass smog but wont pass a visual because it lacks an EO# ( exemption number ) on the part itself unless properly tested by the state. Mind you, are you aware it took CA over 21 months to TEST a fricken K&N Airfilter to get an EO# and over $200K in fee's? Is that crap not rediculous?

Please dont ask how i know this.

I normally use Chevron 93 (closest to home) or Mobil. Although, the Mobil just changed to Citgo, but I have not tried it yet.
