World Ford Challenge (who's going/where are you staying?)
 

Hey Guys:

Last year, before I became en-Lightninged, I was staying at a hotel during WFC, and there were about 30 Lightnings parked out back. I dan't remember which hotel (something to do with beer, I think)

Now that I have a Lightning, I would like to stay wherever the trucks will be.

Who's all going, and are we getting together at one hotel?

I have a 2002 red Lightning, a white 1995 Civic, and a blue VW Jetta. It just worked out that way.

Hey Steve. I was at that same hotel last year. I've never seen so many Lightnings. There is a group of us going from Midwestfords.org this year. I have a room, and I got one for Weldon and Josh. They're all reserved under another person's name, so I'll have to find out the exact hotel for you.

i think i am staying at the adams mark hotel,
i know there will be at least one lightning there cause damon is taking his with him, so....................

I'm a little confused. They have the street lightnings as anyone running a 11.6 or slower and the pro lightnings as anyone running a 12.5 or faster. Is that correct?

It's the biggest Ford drag racing event of the year. It is in St. Louis, MO on the weekend of May 18th. There is a huge vendor display, lots of drag racing, and HUGE car show. There were probably about 50+ Lightings in their class. It is a very good time.

If you get there on Friday, most people go to the Hooters downtown St. Loius.
