Thumbs up Eagle F1's on special @ Tire Rack

Just received 4 new Eagle F1's from Tire Rack. They're on special right now for $189 ea. To NC it was only ~$11 ea. for shipping.
Plus, they got here less than 48 hours after I ordered--(from Indiana). All the local dealers were much higher, and they also would have had to order.

Have to say, the Tire Rack guys were on the ball!

I'm so happy.......New Treads!!!!

I must of just missed the $159 price tag. I bought two new f1's in January for $189 each.

Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Dueler HP 285/50 HR18 yet?

I'm going to try a set. They are good looking and I understand that the differernt rubber compound will provide about 42,000 miles or even more if rotated properly at the right times. I'm all for longevity!!

I had a set of Duelers on My Expy, great traction wet or dry and very quiet and smooth. Of course, I didn't have the power that I have now to test them for launching, but if one could drive an L without burnouts, they might last a long time..

I have bought F1s from tirerack at $220, $194 and in the summer I will prob get them at $189. The $220 is better than the price at the local goodyear place, $4XXea. I think they have lost their minds. I hope that tirerack keeps dropping the price but will buy them all day long for $189.

Later

I got new f-1's from America's Tire a couple of weeks ago. They first quoted me a price of about $325. I said that I saw them in the Tire Rack ad for $189. He raised his eyebrow and said ok. He took my word for it and matched the price. I was suprised it was that easy.
