Man, am I Pi#$ed off!
The cargo driver popped the cardboard off the top of the box and the cheap-cheap-cheap packaging job was evident! the left rear corner had a nice size crack/chip in it. PLUS there was a manufacturing flaw across the hood - like a long scratch but really a finishing flaw about 10" long

 

I know a few Lightning owners complained about the same thing. I remember one "L" owner sent it back 2 or 3 times before it came back fine.

 

Man that sucks! Cervini normally has great hoods.

 

Thats weird... I have one of their cowl hoods on my GT, it fit perfect, and the bodyshop guys remarked on how easy it was to blocksand and paint.

 

That doesn't surprise me.

I recently got one of there rear spoilers, I allmost sent it back, I wasn't really impressed with the finnish. I had to do a bunch of sanding to even get it close to acceptable. Then the body shop had to do some more sanding before they painted it
