Throttle Bodys

Are the single blade throtle bodys worth there bang for there buck.Is there a noticeable difference?

i dont have one but i can tell you what I know about them
they give you a little gain on the dyno, anywhere from 6-12 hp depending on mods. but what they are really good for is throttle response. i personally dont think they are worth the 550 but they do look good and are worth some hp. a throttle body is towards the bottom of my"wish i could have but dont have any money" list:D

Throttle Body: About $550---about 6-10 RWHP

VS.

2, 4, or 6# PSP lower pulley $220 ( $200 for 4# )
PSP Custom Chip $255 ( Less than $500 after shipping )

This may be an alternative to spending $550.00, spend $175.00 with a core exchange and get the same effect of a single blade with better Mid-Range response.

I ordered a ported Stock Throttle Body from Metco.

I saw them at FFW this weekend at Orlando and had to have one.

Order you one from http://www.metco-inc.com/ ASAP.

A guy from FL named Paul is making them. He is a well known Motorcycle "Fly In tuner" in the Motocross and Road Racing community. He has a lot of experience with using Dyno's to tune motorcycle and sprint cars. I think he is going to be a great asset to the L community.

Contact Aaron or Ron at Metco
