WOW that looks good. Did you install the lowering kit yourself, if not, how much did it cost to have it installed?¿?

Thanks for the compliment

My dad and I installed the kit ourselves. The rear front hangers were extremely hard to get off. Im sure with the right tools it could have been a little easier, but all we had was a mal, grinder, drill, 2 wedges, and what you might call a hole punch. You have to remove 4 rivets on each hanger to get them off and they tend to be a little stubborn. If you decide to do the job yourself, make sure you have lots of time, and dont throw any tools at your truck.

Good looking truck there. i agree with the hanger being a pain in the ***. it took us three hours just to get the hangers off. But in the end it is all worth it......

The 01 wheels look so much better in 20" and chrome, your truck looks sweet and I love the tires! I'm still kicking myself over not spending the extra 60 bucks a tire to get those bad boys. ah next year when they piece of crap dunlops wear out!

Looks righteous! Did you c-notch the frame and if not, do you bottom out at all?

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

The only bad thing about putting the drop kit, rims and tires on is now im scared to drive it to work everyday and park next to those d*** cooling towers. I will most likely get a small used truck as my daily driver here shortly.

The roads down here in South Louisiana tend to get a little bumpy so I do tend to bottom out more than I would like. Mainly when I hit bumps in the road at high speeds it will do it. If I get a daily driver, I will leave it like it is, if not, I will probably C-notch the frame. I pull a 20 foot bass boat pretty frequently so the C-notch will be a must if I dont get another truck.

Richard, that tire has held up pretty good so far. There is a slight bulge where that rubber was torn on the inside but im keeping a very close eye on it for eggs. Hopefully it will be alright. Other than that one, they look great......thanks

Nick
