trade in value?

What value do you think a dealer would give me for a 2001 L with 3000 miles on it? I can't seem to get a value on NADA.com or KBB.com.

what color? any problems with the truck? any accidents? I am interested in a 01 L. But I don't think you would get 25K+ on a trade. Maybe 25K if you sell it privately.

Don't expect to much. I went to local dealership (rival dealer) and checked into a trade. Well , much to my surpise my 2001 F-150 XLT 4x4 Off-Road, 5.4 V8 auto, loaded out, with only 8,300 miles on it was only WORTH .... $18,995.00!! I guess what they say about FORD's resale value is true. Needless to say, I was not very happy! I hope you have better luck.

Nothing is worth much right now- With the incentives they've been running since the end of last year, the used market is flooded. No one was interested in buying used, when you could get new for 4.9%....it was a really good deal for about 2 weeks. Then once they had a big inventory of used cars, they start giving you 3 or 4 thousand less than what they would've previously- so you lose any of the savings you would've gotten from the interest break.

It's the same old song and dance. They move numbers around to make it look like they're giving you something they're not.

Hey, you know how you can tell when a Car Salesman is lying?

His mouth is open !!!!!!
