2002's are done!
 

Last night I noticed around the plant that there wasn't any SVT's on the frame line. Another check tonight confirmes we aren't building any Lightnings. Next week is the start of the 2002 1/2 model truck so I think they had to finish the 2002 SVT production before the change. The new truck apparently has changes to improve on the safety issues made by the poor crash rating the F-150 got in the off center frontal crashes. I will keep you posted on the Lightnings though.:(

does nobody want a perfect 01 in red?? i think the price is reasonable isnt it? i know there is none better than this one for the money?

hey LightningAl, why are you selling it anyway? I think the reason why nobody here has responded is because 95% of the people that post here already have one.:D

yes doctor, i think you might be right. but thought if anyone had an older one , this 01 is vastly improved over the 99 and 00. i had a 99 that was excellent but this 01 is better. im planning on buying the new SL500 mercedes coming out. just fell in love with it...... my lightning is perfect in every way.,,, its wierd i put it on ebay and havent had one offer on it. if anyone came to see it they would buy it in a minute. not one nick or scratch. and i have never abused it. i changed the oil at 300 miles, at 800 miles and then at 4000 miles. i cant figure it out??

just out of curiosity I ordered a 02 L in Jan. The dealer i bought it from said they are alotted 8 L each year..I put a 500.00 deposit on it and asked them to get me the last one they r receiving. I also asked them to change the color to red instead of whatever color they were to receive..They said it might be mid may or june b4 they get the truck..I was wondering Doc if mine will be a 02.5 and if it will be here sooner than expected..any help will be appreciated:confused:

I would be SHOCKED if the 2002 Lightning model year was started and completed in 2 months....

One reason you don't have any bids is that you have no pictures. Great pictures sells anything on ebay. Take my advice and add a pic.
