L's do like snow

i blame "whitetoast11" for this one for his "snow" post made earlier this week, to bad u still cant go snowmobuiling, no one north of us had to much more..

but an L can "do" winters, with the winter tires on and the ground effects off this truck is much better than i excected, even better than my 4.6 4*2 i had last year thanks to the locking diff., and no problems today 8 inches of new stuff overnight and crappy driving this morning never had a problem taking off, and no weight in the back....

Wow, People are going to think you are driving a reg truck with lightning badges on it. LOL;)

merrrr

my truck looks just like odin's at the moment. Nothing does a donut like a lightning though.....hehe. Why did you take the ground affects off. With the front air damn bumber so low.....any trouble would be with that, not the sides. Makes a nice snow plow.

:( :( your hurting me without those ground effects, and i thought the snow was too much

The smog and huge mortgage are almost worth it not to deal with snow

i dont like the idea of the salt and water sitting between the ground effects and the body and eating and expanding. plus the first time i took them off and saw what was in there i wanted to make it a yearly thing..

rinse

I hear yeah. Hasn't snowed much here in boston, but they love salt and sand. I rinse mine down almost every other day when the crap is on the road untll the roads are clear. Nice garden hose nozzel up inside the molings works well. There are actually lines of sand wher the sides of the truck was when I pul away.

I put snows on mine also. A little weight in the back helps out a lot also. I don't drive it in the snow though, more of an insurance incase I get caught out in a storm, and it makes it up my billy goat path driveway weeks after the snow has stopped. I left the ground effects on though. For the first time ever, I hate the snow. Thank god I've got my 87 Ranger plow truck with the ever so powerful 2.9l. (I even broke an axle in it last week)

he doesnt seem to mind the snow at all, though...:D

With these trucks being good in the snow I think someone should photoshop a plow on the front. They might end up all over the place but they will always remember where they came from, the GREAT WHITE NORTH!!!:)

Guys..... You need to purchase a $500.00 beater to drive in the rain and snow!!! Man I don't think I could sleep at night if I new that salt was on my L!! :D
