Wink Anybody run a Borla catback?

Guys, I have a chance to buy a Borla catback system from a friend who is going to be selling his L. It's brand new in the box. He wants 400.00 for it how does it compare to the other systems? Any opinions ?

Its a nice system, I think its $400 new from Jegs or Summit. High quality with a unique sound. Not many run it, but it is nice!! I had one on my SS. You will like it!!

I had one on my L for about two months. I really couldn't tell a difference in sound from the stock system, except for the low rumble that Borla is famous for, but the stock system already has a nice rumble.

I paid about $450 for mine and I am now selling it for $250!!!

Its is a good system, but it just wasn't what I was looking for.

I love my Borla! It's not as loud as the majority of the guys on this board seem to like; but, at WOT you know it's not stock. It has a unique sound that's powerful but refined. You can hear an example here. With headers it would sound even better.

You can get a cheaper price here. Free shipping if you order now Well, only a couple of dollars cheaper.

Wink

Thanks guys, sounds like a good deal for 400.00 . And I will be helping a friend out. Do you think the system is good for any more ponys or just the sound?

I love my Borla..

Nice rumble at idle, and at WOT it gets real nasty sounding.

I got mine used for $200, you can get them for around $420 new from Summit...Summit Part # BOR-14872...
