Cowl Hoods

Let's see some cowl hoods. Anyone have one? How much and where did you purchase?

Cowl Hoods

Try Cervinis.com. Part No. 129 is the cowl hood, part 130 is the ram air. I am going with the ram air. There are a number of other manufacturers out there, I happen to like the looks of the Cervinis.

cowl hood

I have the Cervinis Cowl on my '01, and I love it.
My truck is silver and when we painted the hood
we misted Graphite (black) on the sides of the
raised section.
This hood is heavier than the stock aluminum hood.
We make the stock hood in the plant I work in, and I
must say the quality of the Cervinis is better than the
stock hood as far as fit goes.

Love that look Autothrottle. Good choice.
Did you figure out what the studs under the lip of the
hood were for?

I unhooked my engine compartment light, and since I do not
drive my L in the winter, nor the rain if I can help it, I also
removed the windshield washers.

I paid $325 for it at LWM in Norman, OK... They're on the web at the http://www.lwm.cc

They may not sell 'em anymore though.

This other site I found sells the same hood though not as cheap.

I like it, it's all steel, not toooo much heavier, and is extremely well constructed.
