BABolt's Latest Creation
I just saw BABolt's lastest creation and it is going to be awesome! How would you like a 5.4L 4V Lightning motor? The kit will include 4V heads, a unique intake manifold using your existing production Lightning Eaton supercharger, and valve covers with the words "5.4L 4V SC Lightning". The complete kit will be delivered for $3500. This thing is going to rip!!

Put it on my tab
Will it ever end........I should just start selling crack to fund my addiction to mod's.

You can put me on the list for one of those!!!
I have been wanting to do that for sometime now!!! |
HEY!
What about cams? The 4-valve uses 4 cams instead of the 2 cam setup that we have. What about manifolds/headers? It will be different.
So are we getting cams and manifold/headers with this package? What about timing chains? Has anyone thought about this too? BABOLT is the man if he has a 4-valve conversion for our truck, but we have to consider the other factors. If it doesn't include the things that I listed you can probably add another $2000+ on top if you want good cams and custom headers. Personally I am sticking with the 2-valve for now since Jim(JDM) and Jim(TOTALED) have run 11.60's with the stock rods, pistons, cams, heads, and blower. Sal's HO blower ought to shave another .5 sec off the quarter for $3,500 (the price he quoted in another thread). Just my opinion though. |

With that said, If we chose to run the Navigator 4valve heads aren't we going to loose valuable TRQ that these pigs need to get off the line and run hard.
Personally I think this an awesome setup, but there's one thing that I think needs to be done first. Rebuilt motor, with new rods, and pistons of course. Maybe once we have that mod down then we can push the limits of the heads. But then you have to think that you can only spin this blower so fast right? Well thats why your going to need nitrous if you not willing to swap out blowers:D I got it all figured out spiro. I'm just waiting to strike. HAHAHAHA:D |

sounds nice but...
I can't even get any of his tips :(
