If you're willing to GAMBLE by modding your truck with a chip or pulley...
Then like me, you might also enjoy:
http://www.paradisepoker.com Basically its a gaming site for anyone who enjoys playing poker (stud, hold'em, omaha etc). You can play real time against other players, and actually, the games play much faster than in a real casino. I think they typically have over 1,000 people playing at 100+ tables at any given time. And while you can bet real $$$ if you want...which is how the site makes its money (I haven't tried that part...yet), you can also sign up for an "account" just for the "play money" to screw around with. I tried it last night for the first time, and while its not quite the same as being in a real casino, the graphics are great, its easy to play...and its pretty damn fun! I actually tried it last night because I had never played Hold'Em before (made famous in the movie ROUNDERS), and wanted to try it with fake $$$ before dropping the real loot at Foxwoods (...which is what tonight is for!). Check-a-Check it out. Later... GK |
Wow, and I thought the mods would suck me dry!!!
Gambling ain't for me!!! I do it every now and then when I buy a scratch ticket. Hey, do they have the # for Gambling Anonymous on that web site too!!!j/k |
Just heard today at lunch Jim Rome reporting that Michael Jordan dropped 500 grand at a poker table in a CT casnio.
How nice would it be to drop 500 grand and not miss it. Rex |
I think the Wizards were practicing at Mohegan Sun, so that's probably where it happened (there, or Foxwoods, the only two CT casinos). Last time I was at Foxwoods, there were guys playing $500/$1000 limits, and I thought that was a lot (~$30,000 in front of each of them). The craziest stakes I've ever heard of being played was $20,000/$40,000...and that's PER CARD! PER RAISE!! So on the last card for example, I could bet 40k, you could raise me 40 and make it 80, the next guy could re-raise 40 and make it $120k, and the last guy could do the same and cap it at $160k!!! Again, thats just for that one card, and you can bet on 4 different cards.
Yeah, thats insane... but the site is cool. Later... GK |
Who is that clown who publishes Penthouse magazine? Larry Flyntt, is it?
Had a piece about him on TV. Huge gambler. He plays for millions of bucks on his trips to the casinos. Apparently he wins big time too. Evidently he is very good at gambling. And, the casinos take care of his every need. I think they even pay for his air transportation (private jet). |
