How many feet is an 1/8 of a mile? Brain is on the fritz.

well there are 5280 feet in a mile, so 1/8 would be 660 feet.

1/4 is 1,320', so 1/8th is 660'

i'm more concerned with my 60', and usually let off after that

This reminds me of a friend of mine who was wondering why the hell he was getting better times in his car stock, than his friend's heavily modded (won't say what kind of cars....it's kind of embarassing to say on a Lightning board:( )

Turns out he was running a 600 foot track, as opposed to a 1/8 mile track the other guy was running.............I guess those extra 60 feet make a little difference....

I got 610' to the 1/8th mile, but my feet are a little oversize.

My 60' while measuring was 5.2 seconds. I think my sneakers must be worn out because I'm usually good for a low 4 or something.
