Anyone pushing 2 JLAudio 12"W6's in their L's?

Was just wondering if anyone was running 2 JLAudio 12"W'6's in there trucks and do you have pics? A friend of mine said he'd be willing to trade me for my 2 JLAudio 10"W3's. Any help would be helpful. And should I consider this trade?

Thumbs up

I've got one JL 10" W6 in my truck on a Fosgate 360 amp and I think I could use another 10" Two 12s might be pushing it as far as airspace required goes, but I guess it all depends on how you set it up.

DON"T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME!

to fit those 12w6's behind the seat your going to loose allot of leg room and there not going to sound much better then the 10's. Our trucks have such a small cab and the subs are so close that 12's really don't sound anybetter and I personnally think they sound worse.

Stick with the 2 tens you have and if you want more just add a third 10w3.

I was running 3 10w3's before I got my image dynamics 10's and they where pretty good. I like the image's better now and there allot cheaper new. Plus they can go in allot smaller box.

I agree with RTKILLA. see sig.....

I used to have 2 12W6's behind the seat of my old 96 Dodge Ram Pace Truck and they sounded alright, i just couldnt get a box big enough for that DEEP sound...They take alot more air space. Plus, i had alot more room behind those seats then i do in the L. Stick with the 10's and maybe add another if you've got the $$$.

hey,, i run two ten inchers in my L too,,, and a trick you can use to get a deaper sound is to add a cotton fill to the inside of the sealed box,, this will give you deeper bass,, i have done it to mine and already notice the difference, go to the KICKER websight for more info on this applicatoin, two tens work fine in my truck,, they rock with my PPI amp,, a good amp can make all the difference when you need better sound in my opinion.

Whitetoast11 is right on....the fill makes the subs think they are in a bigger box.
