Heard about how we're getting screwed on the Clark Howard
radio talk show yesterday. Seems UPS(and FDX) added a 1.2% fuel surcharge to their shipping bills(what we pay) last year when fuel prices spiked up. Was only supposed to be "temporary--until the price went back down"(remind you of 'temporary taxes'?) At some point in time, they raised the surcharge to 1.4%--we're still paying this--on every mod, etc. we buy that is shipped by them. I wouldn't b***h if they just raised their price, but to say it's for fuel is wrong. D/K the price of 'diesel' fuel but saw .989/gal for 87 octane yesterday.
