I dont know what the deal is. I look under my hood and on the left side of the engine, against the fire wall where all the wire looms are, there is a rubberband hanging down almost touching my valve covers and some exposed wires... are the wires suppose to be exposed? some of its taped, but not all of it, and i just dont know what that rubber band is doing, should i cut it or what

 

the rubberband holds the wiring loom out of the way during the build of your truck.

 

Keep looking you will find more rubber bands. I found about 10-15 on mine.

I believe they come from the Chevy guys. When they catch up to us at the next traffic light, they flick them at us. Ha...it's all they got. Founs 11 on mine.
