Picked up a Silver 01 last night. All I got to say is, 'bout time. X-Plan and $400 College Credit, 60mo @ 2.9%. Got some questions about the sale though.
They wanted to throw in an 'MPP Extended Service Plan ? Says is covers things the warrenty doesn't cover and carries out the warrenty to 5yr/75k mi. I was about to say 'no way hose' but then asked what it covers. ANY work performed by ASE certified technician. When I mention chips, he replied they have to be programed with equipment only provided to ASE mechanics. So they are covered. Yes, he said the chips are covered. So I asked, pullies? Well it would need to be reprogrammed here. What about some other chip? Again, covered. Now this isn't some freaky finance pawn with a lisp. It's the Finance Mgr, who's talking about getting the service people to put a supercharge on his 01 Cobra as soon as he can find one for it. There was alot more said. I wish I had him on tape saying chips and pullies are covered. But also the servce is cancelable.

Tell me what y'all think of this.

Ohhh, another point.
It's got one of the 'special' EATON Superchargers on it. So I'm wondering exactly what this truck has been through. Thought those were used in '01s only a little bit at first while the ones that say 'SVT' were coming in. There were also some blank ones, but only a few. The number 1-800-Ford-SVT (1-800-3673-787) had no one answer this morning @ 8:00 EST. But anytime after nine its been busy. Am I messing up some where? I want to find the build date of mine. :confused:

As much as I heard (and even said) about Gwinnett Place, they had the best looking silver I had seen. Right next to Black and White. After thinking for a day about doing it, I decided I'd kick my self if I didn't take advantage of 2.9%.

They gave you college credit plus X-plan...your pretty lucky..they aren't supposed to do that. :)

Yeah well. I go in there the next day with my diploma, the desk mgr (different than day before) says nope, sorry. :mad: He showed the vincint and all. But I knew it couldn't be done, just hoped they'd do it any way.
