Question Teflon Flakes from Blower

I think that my IC is leaking. A member here posted pictures of his IC being changed. Along with that were a couple of pictures of his blower and the teflon was flaking off of the blades inside. Does Ford have a fix for the flaking also? Is it something that we need to be concerned about? Will they replace the blower when they find this problem?

All good questions, but I dont see FORD replacing blowers as well. Her's my OEM blower with 30K

Chances are, everyone else's looks the same way. You could see the TEFLON coating flaking off, as well as the caked on oil

Just curious...why did you remove the blower? Did it need to be replaced after 30K miles? I hope I don't have to replace mine

Not at all. The stock blower has a smaller upper pulley installed, So when I switched over to the PSP lower, I wanted to go back to stock for the upper. luckily I was able to purchase a blower for a good price from a friend with a stock pulley and blower setup, and also a 2000 L casing with no "logo" on the snout, kinda rare...and cool. Rather than going through all the trouble of pressing the pulley on and off.....again, I simply swapped blowers As ppictured below.
The OEM blower still works fine, and I had no problems with it, in fact its for sale here in our classified section of F150 online.

Cool My Lightnings Blower was replaced!

KIHMO,
When a spark plug stripped out of my '00 L, the dealer replaced the Complete supercharger assy, inner cooler core, plugs, and the O2 boy's when they replaced the cylinder head. This was in Feb this year, before the actual fix that just came out recently.
