Dumb question

Will it hurt any thing to overfill the intercooler resovior not to the top just about 1/2 inch over fill line?

I got a little too happy w/ the water wetter, and ended up a little over the fill line. No problems yet after a few thousand miles (knock on wood).

truck was in for the i/c fix and tech filled right up, not just above fill line but to the point i cant see clear plastic anymore just green right to the black. no problems, these tanks dont have a overfill, there just a place for the green stuff to be filled up..

ally,

I think the top of the tank is only for heat expansion of the coolant. I don't think any harm would come from a slight overfill.
