clearing computer codes

I thought I may be having transmission problems. I took out the chip, accumulator valve in tranny, and other mods. I then drove it to AAMCO transmissions. They checked the computer for codes and found only #`1229 which is for the intercooler(I have it wired to come on with the ign on switch). There were no codes for having the chip like #P0605 they also said there were no transmission codes. Does Ford use a different scanner that reads more codes than what a normal shop would? I almost feel safe in taking back to Ford to have them look at it.

Come on someone has to know if Ford can find codes that a regular shops scan tool can't see.

i was told by a tech that the only way they can tell there was a chip is by looking at the computer and seeing the service port has been messed with . or by having the chip in it will pop up a code . ive had mine in without the chip and nothing has ever came up. they will only be able to tell if they look at your computer.i hope this helps you . this was told to me by a ford tech thats up to date on mods and such so i believe him, .
