Which Intercooler?

Just picked up a 2002 motor and trans and it doesnt have an intercooler.
What are some of the better ones to consider? I saw one member got a
highflow? one on ebay for 99$ This will be my first foray into forced induction and I want to do things right. Also wanted to know about the reservoir tank and pump for the intercooler. All this will be going into a 2001 F150 XLT. Good thing is its a complete motor;wiring harness, intake, waterpump, fan, ECU and trans all with 40,000 on it. Bad thing is I've been dealing only with 4.6s for the last 13 yrs.Been a dream of mine since I bought this truck to stuff a lightning motor in it! And I Make Dreams Come True!!!!This is one of my first posts! So hello Everybody !!!! I checked you guys out and you have some wicked rides! Oh and my mom says its Ok to play with youse guys

Sincerely,
Killer Ride

- since you aren't sure what's going on you need to post some pics of what you do have, do you need the i/c core or the i/c heat exchanger?

what parts do you have?
what parts do you need?

I hope you aren't planning on running the crappy stock rods

Plan on replacing those cast headers! My problem is not with lack of knowledge with the
Motor its with placement of all the other accessories. You see I've never been under the hood of a Lightning before.

you better repalce the rods before you replace the manifolds, they flow well enouigh until you get over 500 rwhp...

you can find heat exchangers for cheap all over the place, go for a dual pass if you can find one
