Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I have been on here, since I have sold my 02' Lightning a year and a half ago..
But the craving has come back and I'm looking to get a Lightning again! I miss it!
Anyone have any new advice of which year to get? Pros and Cons.

 

it don't matter really, the late '03's and the '04's had the better heads (more threads in the plug holes)

however a lightning is still a lightning no matter the year, there's several nice ones for sale over on lightning rodder

 

Yeah, doesnt really matter. The only cons I could see is with the older years comes more mileage. You could also check out www.nloc.net. There are always L's for sale on there. Some really nice ones at that.

 

The 03' and 04' Lightnings have the latest upgrades over the earlier years and that's what I considered when I bought my 03'. Right now there are a lot of good deals to be had so this is a good time to buy a Lightning. With gas prices down as low as they are now I have been driving my truck as much as I want. Look for one that was well taken care with low mileage and haggle the price to what you can afford. Good Luck!
