Lightning running rough

Hello Gentlemen, I am hoping that someone may be able to give me a bit of direction with a problem that occurred this morning. I jumped in my '99 Lightning and it started running rough. I thought maybe it could have been a damp ignition component since it has been rather rainy here the last week or so. I was hoping that as the engine warmed things would dry out but unfortunately that did not happen. I am not throwing a code yet.
The truck has 63,000 miles on it and it was running fine and then all of a sudden wasn't. I am thinking it could be a coil pack or maybe a dirty injector.
I am hoping it is not something more serious but I have heard bad things like Teflon coming off the blower rotors and plugging up the engine. Has anyone had a similar experience?

You gotta start with the basics. IF its missing bad enough you can unplug one coil pack at a time to find out which cylinder is dead. If its a miss anyway. How old is your fuel filter? I would check all the plugs and coils. I have been through my share of cop's but change the plugs first as its $12.

The "teflon" coating on the blower rotors often does flake off over time, but the little flakes will end up blocking off soem of your intercooler. It'll decrease performance a bit, but usually won't effect how the engine generally runs.

Was it just running rough at or near idle but OK above idle? If so, cleaning or replacing the IAC should fix it. A lot easier to try before going to the plugs....
