Post Bedrug installation

For those who have one, how would you rate the install process? 1=EZ, 10=PITA.
Thanks

Thumbs up

Bolt Action:

I would have to rank it a 1, it was very simple. The Bedrug is very good quality and you wont be disapointed.

It does look good. How is it attached, especially, up the sides?

I would say it is a 1 also, I have installed three and they were all a breeze. I took my time and they took between an hour and an hour and a half from start to finish.

They use a very strong velcro to attach in the bed on the bottom, bulkhead and side and tailgate.

It does not move, my bed is currently open, soon to have a lid and I have been up to about 115 and it stayed put.

Just be sure to wipe the area with Rubbing Alcohol before sticking the Velcro down. Provides maximum adhesion.

Thumbs up Bedrug

I have the Bedrug too. Best thing since sliced bread. Best thing about it that makes it better than the cheaper ones is how they shave the foam on the bottom mat to fit the grooves in your bed. It makes the carpeted surface completely flat and very comfortable to kneel on while trying to find something in the front of the bed. Install was a breeze. Hardest part was putting the cargo tiedowns back on, since I didn't want to cut the Bedrug. You have to line up the screwholes which you can't see now.

To me, there is no other choice but Bedrug.

1 for EZ install

Also, don't spill Polyurethane on it Didn't harm the truck, just made the BedRug a lil "rough" in a few places. I can thank my friend for this one!

Oh well, who cares...it's designed to protect and it did just that! A pressure washer works wonders for cleaning the rug too!

I'd say a 2....cause a one would be like installing a coin in your coin holder....and it is harder than that.

Smile Slow and easy...

Just installed the BedRug in my new '01 last night. Very nice addition to the truck! Took about an hour and a half with ice cold refreshments between steps.

Ok....next obvious question....where can I find one? Who has the best price? I didn't realize that "Bed rug" was a name brand...I thought that it was a general term to describe anything that protects the bed, and therefore was gonna go w/ the cheapest thing I could find....Help set me straight on this.

Ebbsnflows, a fellow by the name of Justen can set you up with a BEDRUG, for one of the cheapest prices I know of. You can contact him at Burninout101@aol.com
