Too Much WATER WETTER is a waste, here's why:

>Pardon me, but isn't TOO much Water Wetter, especially when you do not use
>ANY water, a bad thing?

The use of 100% WaterWetter would just be a waste, though it won't
hurt or diminish the properties or performance.

>From my understanding it is and requires water in
>order to work correctly, and more than 2 bottles usually is a waste. I've
>also come to believe that too much will actually reverse the cooling effects
>and could possibly cause MORE heat.

Too much WaterWetter doesn't produce the opposite effect.

I would recommend one ounce of WaterWetter to each quart of distilled
water or 4 ounces to a gallon.

>
>Please, can you give me any insight, and keep in mind that I will post what
>you state on a message board in 100% accuracy.
>
>Thank you so much!
>
>James Parker

Here, I'll post it...I have nothing better to do this morning:

Cooling System Heat Transfer Agent for Use with Water or Antifreeze / Water
Improves the ability of coolant to we heat transfer surfaces by 50%. This provides significantly better coolant contact in the cylinder head and can reduce coolant and head temperatur by as much as 30°F. Can be used with 100% water in racing but does not protect magnesium or alter freezing point.
and...

Directions for use 1 ounce (3-4 capsful) per quart or 1 bottle per automotive cooling system or 12-20 quarts. Less than 50% antifreeze provides further improvement in temperature reduction, but at least 15% antifreeze should be used in street vehicles. This product provides excellent corrosion protection for modern cast iron, aluminum, and brass systems. Can be used with distilled or tap water. Change cooling system annually for best protection.
Everything looks fine and seems in check. The only thing I have to wonder w/ is their recommendations on how much to use. The bottle has 12 oz. of product in it. They ask you to use 1 ounce (3-4 capsful) ...okay which is it, 3 or 4???... per quart, which means 12 oz (1 full bottle) of this product should work for 12 quarts. Now, then it goes on to say "...or 1 bottle per automotive cooling system of 12-20 quarts."

So in essence to get the same cooling effects as using 1 oz to 1 quart, those w/ 20 quarts capacity should use 1 bottle and 8 oz., not 1 full bottle.

Anyhoo, was there anything on the bottle that made you think different? I do have an old style bottle I think, so maybe they changed the literature on the new ones.
