ATTN: Spiro, My cooler's DONE!!!!
Yep its finally done. I talked to Tom at TRZ and he said that I should come pic it up tonight after work. He just had to finish welding in one fitting and she's all ready. So I Guess I'll have some pics for you and the rest of the boys tommorow. God this summer is getting real exciting with all the new toys.
Hey also I found this nice bottle holder kit from NOS at my local shop. I guess the guy said it was new from NOS. its all aluminum with two pins that hold the straps in place. Its really really nice and fast. you can take the bottle out in less then four seconds. only bad thing is that NOS is selling them for like a $100 bucks. I didn't get it yet, but I want it bad. Its raised up pretty high, so we can point the bottle down. lightweight too HEHEHEHE!!! ------------------ Powered By: POWER SURGE PERFORMANCE Products. http://www.zing.com/picture/pd9377b4...2.jpg.orig.jpg www.powersurgeperformance.net/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi |

I can't wait to the TRZ box, I am sure its a quality pice judging by their reputation. As for the NOS brackets..you need them. The NX brackets supplied with the kits are less than perfect if you ask me....but their kits ROCK!! Just like we do https://www.f150online.com/f150board/biggrin.gif Keep that valve pointed in the right direction, and you'll be fine. ------------------ Spiro- 12.373 @ 110.15 Best 60' 1.72 @ 4700 w/out the Go-Go juice 11.94 @ 115.31 with 100 shot Go-Go juice @ 4700 lbs. 11.40 @ 113 with 150 shot(on the brakes)NOT BACKED UP! :D 4700 lbs. -Stock Meter -Stock TB -Stock Heads -Stock Manifolds -Stock motor -Stock Torque Convertor Empty Pockets Racing DE-NJ Sponsored by POWER SURGE PERFORMANCE Sales@POWERSURGEPERFORMANCE.NET |
Ohh yea....be sure to post some PICS for us Joe. By the way...I used the compu-car NOS brackets for mine..LOL Any word on those new plugs? I am still waiting to hear back from "our guy" at NX. He is due back next week from another event.

I ordered a set of the NGK race TR8's and TR9's. they don't make a regular TR8 or 9 for us. basically from what the guy and my shop told me, the difference between these and the TR6's is the resistor inside the plug. He said that with these plugs you might pick up the stereo noise in the radio. I don't know how much we will pick up but if thats the only thing out there then what are you going to do. just change the plugs the day you go to the track and your going to run Nitrous. Chit, I got the plug changing down to a 1 hour job now and I'm sure I get it lower once I move some more hoses around. Once I get my plugs this week I'll let you know the exact numbers on them. The TR6 is the coldest plug that NGK makes that will have the resistor inside to stop stereo noise.
Also, I'm going to take some pics of my power steering resivoir. I moved it out of the way for easier access to the plugs. Its real nice where I got it now, and it only cost me 5 or 6 bucks for some hoses and clamps. Hey, does sal got those Plates done for me. I would like to put that on when I do the NOS gauge and the purge kit. I also bought a autometer 2 1/16 phantom nitrous gauge. like 70 bucks for that damn thing but now I can tell what the NOS pressure is. I'm going to get a fuel pressure gauge too. I think I'm going to end up changing the fuel pumps on the truck, that fuel pressure dropping scares me sometimes. My buddy just installed a universal holley 255 pump in his camaro and wow that thing can pump some fuel. I know I saw a guy on her talking about makeing 255 pumps and also 190 pumps. I don't think we would ever need two 255 pumps so I might go with the two 190's. but then again if the price is close enough I might just say f#$k it and get the best for it, you know. Bart tobner said that would be the first thing he would change in the fuel system on these trucks, so thats what I'm going to go with. We got 42lb injectors and the rails are plenty big enough for the HP we got now. Does anybody make an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, or do I have to have a Computer program for that? Thats another ??? I got. Lots to do and I just bought $3000.00 bucks worth or tire and rim. Whats going on?!?!?! HAHAHAHA.. Hey she can look and drive awesome in my book. ------------------ Powered By: POWER SURGE PERFORMANCE Products. http://www.zing.com/picture/pd9377b4...2.jpg.orig.jpg www.powersurgeperformance.net/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi |
LOL..your crazy https://www.f150online.com/f150board/biggrin.gif
yes..please let me know about those plugs. I know they will need to be installed at the track, and will need to removed for the rde home. As for an adjustable fuel regulator..I really dont think we need that. We could handle anything we need from the chip. Yea..back in the day with the 5.0's they were very useful..especially during idle, but not worth the money for us.. IMO! I have a plate for you and BBQMAN set aside, and should have them ready for when we return from the MOD-SHOOTOUT this weekend. As for the pumps..I will probably go with the 255 lph..what the hell..right? Hey..I am even considering making an acess door in the bed above the tank so that I could remove the pump assemby without having to drop the tank, or remove the bed. This way...the pump swap would only take an hour or so https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif But you know what Joe.. I think the rails are holding me back..We need something bigger. I heard from a friend that the NAVIGATOR fuel rails are larger, and could possibly bolt -up to our lines...sounds interesting doesn't it? hmmmm... https://www.f150online.com/f150board/biggrin.gif THE"GREEK" |
Dammit!
Tom just called me up and told me to come pisk it up tomorrow cause he has to go somewhere right now. Well it looks like its going to be tomorrow now that I'll get it. I'll still have pics though. but this messes up my whole night, Now I have to play with something else tonight. Maybe I should call up glen and see if my new triple gauge pod is in yet.... Hook all that up tonight. |
Sbeero,
The Navigator rails are the same diameter as the L's rails. They are actually closer together due to the wider head. Racer X |
