Hello 12's...
Last night was my second time to the track with the '00. Temp was about 72 degrees, pretty high humidity, baro was about 30.0x.
60ft -- 1.853 1/8 -- 8.236 1/4 -- 12.922 mph -- 103.92 I only got 4 runs in, with my first run going a blistering 14.7 @ 66 mph (boost shut off...grrr!). I credit my new times to a reburn from Danny and my recently added PSP lower pulley. I ran 1.8xx 60 ft times every run. I do feel the truck has more in it, especially on the top end. The only sad note was I lost to a 2001 ram air trans am...by .073 sec (he caught me sleeping at the tree). However, he would not race me again, though I did my best to get him to. All in all a good night. ------------------ Black '00 #2216 |
Way to go with the 12s! About how much time did the pulley knock off?

DUCK01, Well, I honestly do not know. The only two things I changed from last time (in alomst IDENTICAL conditions) were a new reburn from Danny and the PSP pulley. My 60 ft times were more than a full tenth better, my 1/8 et's dropped over 2 tenths, my 1/4 et dropped 3 tenths and was up 1 mph. I am almost positive the pulley was fully responsible for the better 60 ft and 1/8 et's, and 75% responsible for the 1/4 et's/mph. Just my thoughts. Sal, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Silver-Bolt,
Thanks! I am running 16x26x10.5 MT ET Streets on American Racing 16x8 rims. I was spinning WELL past the 60 ft mark on the runs as well. With some good air and some better traction, I believe that 1.7's are very possible. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/biggrin.gif ------------------ Black '00 #2216 |
Congrats on the 12's! I have a question about the lower pulley. Have you noticed when you "see boost" since the pulley swap? I'm wanting to know if the boost comes in sooner with the pulley. I do a decent amount of towing with my L, so I can't do any mods that will compromise its pulling ability.

Thanks guys!
Trevor D, The boost does come on faster with the pulley. I would think it would only HELP you with towing...just a thought. https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif ------------------ Black '00 #2216 |
