As a veteran, i'll be happy to accept your thanks. I figure you all owe me roughly ten dollars for my 4 years of service.

Redneck Ferrari May 28, 2001 01:01 AM

As a vet myself, I figured on $20.00 each. (The twenty dollar bill is easier to send in the mail!)
P.S. CASH ONLY PLEASE

Rock on. After seeing Pearl Harbor today, I have a new found respect for soldiers. And, I totally agree with Truman's decision to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki (spelling?). Those little punks deserved it.

No monitary amount is ever necessary as I have a great sense of pride in having served my country and the upmost respect for fellow veterans.

CBQB,

Thank you for your respect. However please do not use a movie to base you opinions of our conflict with and decision to drop nuclear weapons on Japan. As you read this, a wonderful research tool is right at your fingertips.

I would like to take the time toy say thanks to all those that have made the ultimate sacrafice and to all their brothers/sisters who wore and are wearing the U.S. military service uniform. It makes me proud and I get a little teary eyed reflecting upon this. I am still wearing the uniform and have 28 years between the Marines as an "E" and the Air Force as a "zero" https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif

I agree that a movie shouldn't be the basis for your decision to blow two cities to dust. However, some movies do make you want to hang your flag high and tie a yellow ribbon. I went to see Pearl Harbor on vacation. Although it wasn't a documentory, nor was it meant to be, it was a neat movie.
