Has anyone tried getting Ford's "X" Plan savings this way...

Hey guys, DO ME A BIG FAVOR
If you join EAA to get the X-Plan, please tell them that I sent you. I have joined a number of new members and the person that sends in the most members gets to do something with Ford and I would like to be the one.

Thanks

Has anyone tried getting Ford's "X" plan by way of joining EAA which is an aviation club that has a partnership with Ford?? It costs $40 to join the club but you get the pin number needed to get an "X" price at a dealership. I know a dealership does not have to honor the plan but most will if you go through the Internet or fleet department. But the odds of getting the plan on a Lightning is almost "0." It is interesting info. if your are considering any other product that Ford produces like: Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo and Land Rover, and Jaguar S-Type.

I was able to locate a dealer that would honor the X-Plan with just a few calls. With a little effort I'm sure anyone could.

Sounds like the CA market is pretty tight Jim.

Hi Jim,

How much does the X plan take off? Is it under invoice?

Thanks,
Matt

Jim,
There is a non SVT dealer in central FL that is selling for $100 under invoice either stock or order - $300 over if they find one and bring it in. I just got a price on a Bullitt of $25,227. is that in line with the X plan?

I know that X plan is Ford's A plan + 4%.

My question was has anyone got their "X" plan by joining EAA which is an airplane club??

Join the club for $40.00 and you can get the Ford pin number that intitles you to the special plan.

I just signed up for the EAA program and will report back when I receive my pin and other materials.

"Not a Member Yet"?
You can join EAA online. After you receive your EAA Member number in the postal mail, you will be able to sign in online.

Please clarify this on the webpage Bolt:

To take advantage of this great opportunity, you must first be an Annual
(includes Lifetime and Century) or Divisional EAA member**.

** Introductory, Youth, Complimentary, Library, School, and Corporate Memberships are not eligible

Is 40 bucks an introductory membership or are you considered annual? I only ask because this sounds like a great way to get into the X-Plan.

To anyone interested:my wife has 4 x-plans to give away. If anyone needs one just reply back on this thread with your email address and we'll get together on what info is needed on both ends. My dealer here (north of Detroit) will x-plan a Lightning. I already asked. They have 2 silver ones sitting there right now.

Use my name and he'll know who just nailed him to the carpet https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif I dont work for Ford or any affiliate, just a friend and my SVT dealer.

Glad to see people are looking for the best deal. X-Plan price is something like $27,897. (Sorry don't know exactly what I paid without going to my files). It is A-Plan plus 4% like a previous poster stated. Don't know what invoice is ( be careful of "invoice"; dealers will add regional ad fees and other stuff to that).

I think it is totally cool that Ford employees will offer the pins to "strangers" I get one and it is only through a corporate fleet agreement between my company and Ford.

Bottom Line: Make your deal that you can live with and just enjoy the vehicle. I am having a blast with mine every time I drive it our just check on it sitting in the garage.

I'm not sure what you mean by give away. I would love to be in the X-Plan if I could use it anytime this year. I plan on waiting till this summer, but let me know if you can help anyway.

Email me at pisymbol@hotmail.com

Thanks,
