fuel gauge question

last week I went out to the garage to start the Lightning and let it run for a while. not paying attention to the gauges, I let it warm up for about 20 minutes and decided to put it back in the garage when I noticed the low fuel light on, which is strange since the tank is full, I then notice the fuel gauge reading empty. I shut the truck off and restarted it and the gauge went straight to full. fast forward to today, started the truck up and the gauge reads E, shut it off and restart still on E. repeat the same and the gauge goes to full. Has this happened to anybody else? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happened to me a few years ago for a few weeks, the gauge would show empty for a few minutes and then read accurate, not sure why and it has not done it since.

Maybe someone else know?
